DENVER—The Colorado Department of Revenue is asking state lawmakers to allow people to register their vehicles and get titles using their computers.

Lawmakers say a measure being considered Wednesday would save a lot of time and paper.

The Department of Revenue already allows Coloradans to renew driver’s licenses electronically.

According to the Denver Post ( ), money to pay for the program would come from grants and donations to the electronic motor vehicle registration cash fund.
