DENVER—Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper is in Israel on a personal visit.
The governor’s office says that Hickenlooper left Tuesday for a weeklong visit. Hickenlooper planned to sightsee and meet with President Shimon Peres and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat (NEER BAHR-kaht).
The governor’s office says Hickenlooper is traveling at personal expense. He returns to Colorado April 17.
