MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.—A major highway near Manitou Springs is back open after a large rockslide.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says crews worked through the night to remove nearly a dozen rocks off Colorado Highway 24. Some of the rocks that fell Tuesday were as big as a car.

According to KKTV-TV ( ), no one was injured.

Crews pushed the rocks off the road and plan to bring in a machine Wednesday to blast the rocks into smaller pieces for easier removal.
