Durango Wine Experience
The seventh annual Durango Wine Experience takes place Thursday-Saturday. This three-day event features educational seminars, wine tastings and dinners, a Grand Tasting on Saturday and the Walk-About Durango on Friday through downtown Durango. Ticket prices vary.
Stanley Hotel hosts horror and indie films
Estes Park’s Stanley Film Festival is Thursday-May 5. The festival will present both classic horror and new, independent feature and short films at The Stanley Hotel. The weekend also includes Q&A sessions, panels, special events, and the “Stanley Dean’s Cup” student film competition. All films will be shown at the Stanley Hotel and the Reel Mountain Theater.
Montrose Farmers Market opener
The grand opening of the Montrose Farmers Market is May 11. The celebration begins at 8:30 a.m. with kids’ activities, live music, more than 30 local vendors selling produce, veggies, wine, goat cheese and more. All moms will receive a $5 coupon in honor of Mother’s Day weekend.
Sustain Arvada Festival
The Sustain Arvada Festival takes place May 11 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at West 57th Avenue and Olde Wadsworth Boulevard. The festival, focused on sustainable living, includes exhibits, family activities, food, music, presentations and more.
