The scheduled show at the has been canceled, as the band’s Dave Lamb has been admitted to the hospital with severe anemia, according to a news release. In its place, the Larimer Lounge has booked a free benefit show for Lamb with the .
With Lamb still waiting on a diagnosis, the band is unable to play shows, according to the release.
Brown Bird posted the following message on its Facebook page today:
Hi Fans and Friends,
We regret to announce that all shows between now and May 26th have been cancelled.
We need your help.
Dave’s been in the hospital for the past week with severe anemia and dangerously low blood levels. Please visit thelink below for the full update.
We’ll be keeping you all posted, but please know that we are maintaining optimism and want nothing more than to be back out on the road as soon as possible.
The show, which also includes Sedges Have Edges, Mitchell Ryan, Spider Murphy Duo and Wichita Run, starts at 8 p.m. Donations can be made at the show
