A man accidently shot his left index finger while cleaning his gun, and apparently drinking, Colorado Springs police said.
Joshua Crabtree was cleaning the gun in a residence in the 500 block of South Hancock Avenue at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday when the gun went off.
He was taken to Memorial Hospital and treated for the injury.
