The Avalanche has agreed in principle on a new multiyear contract with enforcer Patrick Bordeleau, an NHL source said.
Bordeleau, 27, played 46 games with the Avs last season.
Once Bordeleau’s signing becomes official, the Avs will have two remaining potential unrestricted free agents — Milan Hejduk and Chuck Kobasew.
