will soon be as far as it is realistically possible to be from our planet — meaning, for at least a brief period of time, we will be living in a world with out the Biebs. He is the newest, and by the sounds of it, the youngest celebrity so far to book a trip into space.
Virgin Galactic’s Richard Branson tweeted the news earlier this week, saying:

Future astronaut Bieber was quick to respond, saying, “ let’s shoot a music video in SPACE!! “
The space odyssey requires a hefty $250,000 deposit, but many celebrities, including Ashton Kutcher, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Leonardo DiCaprio, have reportedly paid to be some of the first civilians in space when the trips actually begin.
, Virgin Galactic has been testing , which can carry six passengers; though, there are currently more than 600 people with deposits, so the Biebs might have to wait a few years for his turn. The craft will fly 68 miles above Earth, where the commercial passengers will be able to experience zero gravity.
