 has reunited for a short period of time to commemorate the 10 years that the Canadian label Arts & Crafts has been up and running. As such, the band recruited Feist to perform two tracks Thursday night on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Since the band split, most members have deviated to create their own albums — notably, , Kevin Drew and Apostle of Hustle.

However, it’s never been quite the same, with the exception of Feist’s and Stars’ first albums. The massive crew stormed Jimmy Fallon’s stage with a nostalgic swagger. Watch Broken Social Scene perform “Almost Crimes” and “7/4 Shoreline” on Jimmy Fallon, with a re-energized Feist toying with Kevin Drew and a controlled chaos that always seems to come together in harmonious fashion. Wouldn’t it be nice if the lot of them came together to make beautiful music again?
