The Denver coroner has identified Michael Kent Pimentel of Denver as the man who died Sunday after his car slammed into a house in the morning.
Pimentel, 51, crashed at 20995 E. 49th Ave. at 8:14 a.m., causing part of the home to collapse on his vehicle, police said.
The vehicle crashed into the garage area of the home. A woman in another part of the house at the time was uninjured.
Pimentel was pronounced dead at the scene. The exact cause of death is still under investigation.
