Police in Westminster are seeking the public’s help in finding a driver who hit a bicyclist and didn’t stop.
The incident happened about 11 p.m. Saturday in the 9900 block of Westminster Boulevard, according to a Westminster Police Department media release.
The injured bicyclist, found by a passing motorist, was separated about 1,000 feet from his bicycle after being hit.
The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The vehicle may have hood damage or damage to the right, (passenger side) headlight, police said. The vehicle may also have damage to the windshield wipers.
Police have not yet determined an exact model of the vehicle.
Anyone in the area Saturday night who may have seen anything suspicious, or anyone with information on a possible vehicle or driver, is asked to call Det. Dean Passarelli at 303 658-4241.
