FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Sheriff’s officials say a man who was cut by a boat propeller at Horsetooth Reservoir has undergone emergency surgery.
Larimer County sheriff’s officials say the man, of Blue River, was listed in critical condition Monday.
Authorities say a boat was bringing him back to shoreline Sunday evening when he jumped out. Sheriff’s officials say the man suffered severe cuts on the right side of his body when the boat backed over him. A Fort Collins man was driving the boat. Sheriff’s officials say alcohol may have contributed to the accident.
No charges had been filed as of Monday afternoon.
