DEL NORTE, Colo.—The flag at a command post for a huge wildfire burning in southwestern Colorado is flying at half staff.

The flag was lowered Monday in Del Norte in honor of the 19 firefighters killed in Arizona. Crews assigned to the West Fork fire complex also paused for a moment of silence for them.

The Colorado fire complex is 4 percent contained thanks to cloud cover for much of the day Sunday over the West Fork Fire.

It forced the evacuation of hundreds of visitors and residents from the town of South Fork but they were allowed to return Friday.

The fire complex is made up of three fires burning on 151 square miles.

Some homes directly north of the West Fork Fire remain under evacuation.
