3) Global Dance Fest — Red Rocks, Friday-Sunday, $55.90

There’s only one thing that you should and will do at Red Rocks this weekend, and it’s in the name of the festival. Global Dance Fest 2013 brings Beats Antique, Eoto, Savoy, Mimosa, Griz and more to Red Rocks Friday to Sunday.

2) Wiz Khalifa — Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, Tuesday, $33-$88

There’s not too much to say about Wiz Khalifa — the pop and hip-hop star behind “Black and Yellow” and “Payphone.” He’s a radio hitmaker, bred to be widely distributed and consumed like a sitcom or reality television. But as with any artist big enough to sell out arenas on globe-trekking tours, an opening spot becomes a valuable commodity like an ad during the Super Bowl. And on his Under the Influence tour — which hits Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on Tuesday — he’s chosen wisely, bringing along some exciting up-and-coming rappers A$AP Rocky and Joey Bada$$. 1) Steve Martin — Denver Botanic Gardens, Saturday, sold out

Steve Martin will always be remembered first as the comedian, actor and all around funny man he is. But in terms of talent, his prowess as a musician is right on par. Martin can shred on the banjo, which diehard fans might remember from his early stand-up routine or “Saturday Night Live” sketches. On Saturday, Martin performs at the Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield location with his bluegrass band the Steep Canyon Rangers. The group, recently played in Colorado, headlining the Telluride Bluegrass Festival as a replacement of Mumford & Sons. (Sold out)
