Maybe you’re naively unaware that Niall is a natural brunette, or that — all jokes aside, carrots are an important source of vitamin A and I’m not going to knock a guy who wants his girls to have healthy eyesight. Liam dislikes spoons, and … OK fine, enough.
But the most important piece of trivia is that the boy band will bring a flock of screaming tween-age girls a.k.a. Directioners to the. And, just in time for their Colorado concert, the 1D boys have also released a new music video for their song “Best Song Ever.”
Each of the five guys takes on another character in the six-minute long video. It begins with Louis dressed up as a paradoxically hairy/balding music/movie producer, with Niall at his side as another older man in the music biz. The two talk shop about Angelina Jolie, and then. And. Then.
Zayn walks in as a (pretty attractive, I’ll admit) office secretary in (pretty convincing) drag. The actual One Direction boys, who are interacting with the characters they are playing, check out his/her ass in a great side-moment.
Harry walks in as the nerdy artistic visionary for the new 1D film, and shows a few photos of the group, including one of them dressed as the Village People. Finally, Liam enters as a rather over-the-top, flamboyant dance instructor, and then finally the song begins. The boys dance on screen with themselves as their various characters, and it all leads to a lot of booty shaking.
At one point, regular Harry pulls girl Zayn close and bites his lip, and well, I’m just going to leave this here.
There is also a new trailer for the movie “One Direction: This is Us” which brings you 1D, only in 3-D. Highlights include Harry in a bakery, and Niall talking about his confusion about what miso soup is. IN 3-D. Best song ever? More like best film ever, am I right?
One Direction performs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 24 at the Pepsi Center.
