COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police say a man and woman have been taken to a hospital after a device exploded.
Police say the man had severe burns on his body, and the woman had burns on her legs Wednesday.
Investigating officers found a canvas bag nearby with two sealed pipes that contained suspected marijuana. They were still investigating how the man and woman were burned.
Pot concentrates, such as hashish, are frequently made using plastic pipes and explosive solvents and can be dangerous. Police didn’t say whether the victims were making hash.
