DENVER—Immigration reform advocates and business owners are hoping “buy-cotts” across the state will prompt support for comprehensive immigration reform.
Nearly 400 businesses signed up for a campaign that will begin on Sunday as a reverse boycott of sorts. During that time, consumers are being urged to spend at businesses that display posters advertising their support for immigration reform with a path to citizenship.
The Denver Post reports ( ) rallies for the “buy-cott” were held Monday in Grand Junction, Denver, Pueblo and Glenwood Springs.
