Fransua’s bond was set at $10,000 cash.

In an e-mailed statement, the Fransua family said: “Our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to his (Julien’s) family. We will continue to cooperate with the authorities as they continue their investigation in the matter.”

The Colorado State Patrol is still seeking the driver of a dark blue Volkswagen Jetta, who may be involved in the crash.
