Views even city buyers can’t resist: Solterra reveals best-ever lots for Infinity Home Collection’s Avanti

Getting your player ready...

Solterra, the Tuscan-styled master planned community near Red Rocks Park, is a setting so dramatic with amenities so appealing that one of its largest buyer groups are families who come from trendy new-urban areas around downtown Denver. “We’re getting many sales from Highlands, Wash Park, even Lowry,” says Infinity Home Collection’s Steven Kruse, who has some new lots to show you today that make that Solterra alternative even more compelling.

As of today, Solterra is opening a new enclave of sites, specifically for a dramatic collection that Infinity is calling Avanti. “These are the best lots, for the best homes,” says Infinity General manager David Steinke. “It’s a chance to be looking down from atop a hillside village at a stunning panorama.” Those views will span from the Red Rocks and Mt. Morrison, south down the hogbacks to Pikes Peak – prompting Infinity to design the Avanti series as an indoor-outdoor experience. “The outdoor component is so amazing that we want to bring it indoors,” Steinke adds. One of the options: a ‘stacking slider’ that will allow owners to push the entire great-room window wall aside, allowing both spaces to become one.

That outdoor experience at Solterra is a lure not only for those Denver-city buyers (Kruse says the commute into downtown is around 25 minutes) but also a big component of out-of-towners, some coming for jobs at the new, nearby St. Anthony hospital campus. “They’re looking for a cool place to raise their kids, where they can be closer to the mountains,” Kruse adds. In addition to some well-rated Jeffco schools, Solterra has the I-70 ski route only three minutes north on C470, and trails up Green Mountain right outside the community. Kruse can show you those sites today, including numbers of coveted walkouts, and the preliminary Avanti plans, sized 3,325 to 3,600 feet, not counting extra basement finish area, to be priced from around $700,000. (He also has five homes that can deliver around the holidays, from the $630s).

The offering is made as of today; but Infinity’s Steinke warns that there are buyers already forming an interest list. “You can bet that prices are going to go up from these pre-grand opening prices,” he adds. You’ll also see Solterra’s 6,000-foot ‘Retreat’ community villa with pool – centerpiece of a complement of trails and amenities that are in return for a modest HOA fee. Solterra is on West Alameda, just east of C-470. Take C-470 either north past Morrison or south from I-70 to the Alameda exit and head east to Indiana, then south.
