KERSEY, Colo.—The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Kersey area in northeastern Colorado.
Forecasters said water from recent rain will continue to move down the South Platte River on Tuesday.
The weather service says the river is expected to rise about two feet on Tuesday, which could put the river near flood stage and flood areas where the riverbank has eroded.
