No license to elude. Arvada police pulled over the driver of a minivan on Interstate 76 on Sept. 12 for illegally crossing a median near the westbound off-ramp to Wadsworth Boulevard. The driver had a learner’s permit, and his female passenger did not have a valid driver’s license. While waiting for a tow truck, the driver started the van and drove off toward the exit ramp. Police caught up and arrested him for eluding.

Stolen gnomes. A woman called Arvada police Sept. 17 to report five lawn gnomes stolen from her front yard. The woman would move the gnomes around each day and take pictures. There are no suspects.
