
Driver admits drinking. On Sept. 22, a Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a driver in the 3400 block of Myers Gulch Road, Kittredge
. The woman admitted having some drinks and said her passenger had “way more than me.” The passenger was arrested for violating a protection order. The hostile driver, who cursed deputies, was taken into custody.
Mom says school staff harassing students. On Sept. 17, Jeffco deputies went to the Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen, 2959 Royale Elk Way, Evergreen, after a parent said her sons were being harassed by staff because she had spoken out about school lunches. She said her boys also were allowed to walk between buildings without supervision.
Boyfriend arrested for interfering with 911 call. Golden Police went to 17498 W. 10th Ave. on Sept. 14 when a woman said her boyfriend was taking their infant son without permission. He was arrested for obstructing phone service while she was on a call to 911.
Indecent exposure unintentional. On Sept. 14, police were called to the Golden Community Center, 1470 W. 10th St., in reference to a transgendered male who exposed himself while getting out of a sauna. A patron complained and the man apologized. A witness said she didn’t think it was intentional. No charges were pursued.
Alley nap interrupted. Golden police on routine patrol found a man sleeping in the alley behind King Soopers, 17171 S. Golden Road, on Sept. 19. He said he was looking for work. He was issued a summons for having an open alcohol container.
