Authorities in Wyoming are looking for a bicyclist who hit a jogger Wednesday morning and fled, leaving the injured victim behind.
The collision happened about 6 a.m. near the intersection of Riding Club and Yellowstone Road, about three miles north of Cheyenne, according to a Wyoming Highway Patrol media release.
The victim suffered “moderate” injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The bicyclist was riding a dark blue or black “Specialized” mountain bike, witnesses told investigators. He is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, with short blonde hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and he may have suffered a facial injury, as there was blood on his face after the collision.
Anyone with information on the incident, or on the bicyclist, is asked to call Trooper Kyle Mckay at 307 777-4321.
