A fire that consumed a vacant northwest Denver home where police found a man’s body was suspicious in nature, Denver police said Tuesday.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in learning more about the Oct. 15 blaze at 2614 W. 24th Ave., which was vacant and scheduled for demolition. The home was frequented by transients.

Firefighters . The medical examiner’s office has not released his identity nor the cause of his death. Investigators said only that the fire’s origin was “suspicious in nature.”

Denver police urged anyone with information on the fire to call them at 720-913-2000.
