Marty Magid, the former agent for ex-Broncos pass rusher Elvis Dumervil, on Tuesday was suspended six months and fined $25,000 for his role in a fax-machine fiasco.
Magid was disciplined by the NFL Players Association, which announced the suspension and fine after its Committee on Agent Regulation and Discipline reviewed the case.
after Magid, apparently, failed to file paperwork on time that would have extended Dumervil’s contract.
The team and Dumervil had a verbal agreement on a contract extension, but the signed agreement to meet the NFL’s deadline.
