Man suspects neighbor of theft. On Oct. 6, Golden police went to the 400 block of Butte Parkway, where a suspicious male was seeking items he said were stolen from him. He was advised not to contact anyone at the alleged thief’s home.

Son learns lesson the hard way. On Oct. 8, Golden police went to the 1300 block of Golden Circle and talked to a man who told his son he couldn’t stay there anymore because he had lied about a warrant for his arrest. After checking records, the police arrested the son on a warrant out of Arvada.

Sleeping customer nabbed on warrant. Golden police went to McDonald’s, 17500 S. Golden Road, on Oct. 9 and found a man sleeping in a vehicle. A check showed he had a warrant out of Eagle County for traffic offenses. He was arrested and taken to jail.

Custody disagreement upsets kids. Jeffco deputies went to the 3700 block of Sage Circle, Evergreen, where the mother of two children said she had a court order to pick up the children, but the father objected because she would not let him see it. When the court order was examined explaining that the mother had the right to take the children, the father complied. However, the children became upset.

Unruly customer banned from Sonic. On Oct. 12, a Jeffco deputy went to Sonic Drive-In, 27171 Main St., Conifer,when an employee and a customer traded some epithets and the employee feared the customer might become violent. The deputy phoned the customer’s wife and she said her husband’s low blood sugar caused erratic behavior. The man was told to stay away.
