Police in Denver have found what they call a “homemade explosive” in the front yard of a Park Hill home.
The Denver Police Department bomb squad was called to a home Wednesday morning in the 3300 block of Forest Street when the homeowner reported the suspicious device, according to police department Twitter feeds.
Several nearby homes were evacuated, as a safety precaution, as police checked out the situation.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
