Oh no! On Oct. 20, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to the area of Hunterwood Drive and Wildcat Reserve Parkway, where he found graffiti that read, “OH NO! YOUR UPPER CLASS NEIGHBORHOOD HAS WRITING ON IT,” in white spray paint. There was no damage to the fence other than it needed to be painted.

Money lost. On Oct. 19, a deputy responded to the 1200 block of Ascot Avenue, where a man reported he left his wallet and money clip on his kitchen counter and the next day the money was missing. He said it’s possible the money was lost, but he was sure he saw it the night before.

Snowed in. On Oct. 18, a deputy responded to the 5400 block of Knoll Place, where a man noticed his neighbor’s car door was open and the glove compartment contents thrown about. Snow had piled up on the driver’s side door, but nothing was taken. The car was apparently left unlocked.

iPod stolen. On Oct. 17, a deputy responded to the 17200 block of Lark Water Lane, where a woman said someone stole an iPod she left in her car’s console the day before, as well as $3 in change.

Shoplifting. On Oct. 12, Parker police officers responded to Walmart, 11101 Parker Road, where two people had been caught shoplifting and were issued a summons.

Stove stolen. On Oct. 11, Parker police officers received an online report for a theft and reclassified it as a burglary from a home under construction. Someone had stolen a stove from a house on the 17000 block of Triple Crown Street
. The case was deactivated.
