
Trespass suspect exclaims “I’m back.” A suspect was arrested Nov. 8 when she was returned to McDonald’s, 505 E. Colfax Ave., after she had been told not to return two days earlier. According to the manager, the woman entered the store and shouted, “I’m back.” The manager told the suspect to leave, but she refused until Denver Police arrived.
Argument over scooter results in broken window. Denver Police responded to some criminal mischief Nov. 11 after a window was smashed at Su Teatro, 721 Santa Fe Drive. The complainant told police that he was arguing with the suspect over damage to his scooter. The suspect became angry and kicked the glass door, causing it to break.
Intoxicated suspect refuses to leave closed business. On Nov. 10, Denver Police responded to the PPA Event Center, 2105 Decatur St., after a suspect refused to leave. Witnesses said they advised the suspect the business was closed. Police found the intoxicated suspect hiding in a storage room.
Witnesses see theft in yards. On Nov. 8, Denver Police responded to the 300 block of South Alcott Street on a report of a theft. The three witnesses told police they observed a man moving items away from the house. When the suspect saw the witnesses, he left, but hopped a fence into another yard where he took items.
Suspect caught shoplifting jeans. A loss prevention officer called Denver Police on Nov. 9 after they contacted a suspect stealing jeans from Nordstrom Rack, 1505 S. Colorado Blvd. The loss prevention officer told police he detained the suspect and recovered the jeans.
