MONTROSE, Colo.—A Montrose prosecutor is on paid administrative leave following his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Authorities say Deputy District Attorney John Mehlig was arrested Sunday after he crashed his pickup truck into a power pole.
Investigators say the accident caused minor damage to the truck and the power pole. No injuries were reported.
