COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A Fort Carson soldier has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
Joe Alfred Garcia Jr. will be sentenced in February. He faces 30 years in prison and 20 years of parole.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), police were first alerted to Garcia’s crimes after Homeland Security investigators in Boston called and asked for help with help in a child porn case. Garcia has been stationed in a number of different cities and states during his military career.
