Aurora police are asking the community for help in identifying a motorist who hit an officer’s occupied patrol car during a traffic stop.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. Friday in the area of East Colfax Avenue and North Moline Street, according to a news release from police.
The suspect’s car is described as a four-door 2003 silver Honda Accord, which was stolen, according to police.
The driver rammed the patrol car and fled.
The East Metro Auto Theft Team is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the suspect.
