LONGMONT — The damage toll for the September flood is on the rise again, with the damage to Longmont infrastructure now estimated at $152.5 million.
The estimates have been a moving target since the beginning, often going up as further damage is uncovered or down as good bids come in.
Initial calculations in September put the Longmont figures at about $148 million; that had fallen to $132 million by November.
“This is continuing to gyrate wildly,” public works director Dale Rademacher told the Longmont City Council this week.
