A rollover accident near Fort Collins killed one person and seriously injured two others early Friday morning.

Authorities received a call about the accident around 12:36 a.m., said Trooper Josh Lewis, a spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.

A Chevrolet pickup truck rolled at least once in the 4000 block County Road 28 E, near Horsetooth Reservoir. Investigators believe at least one person was ejected from the truck.

Drugs or alcohol are being considered as possible factors in the crash, Lewis said.

A female passenger was airlifted to the Medical Center of the Rockies with serious injuries. The male driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries as well.

The third passenger died in the crash.

Few details about the crash or victim were available. The investigation is ongoing, Lewis said.

The truck had Texas license plates.
