GRANBY, Colo.—The Colorado Avalanche Information Center says one person died after an avalanche on Parkview Mountain north of Granby.
According to KUSA-TV, ( ) the avalanche was reported to Jackson County sheriff’s dispatch at 1:19 p.m. Tuesday. The victim’s name has not been released.
The avalanche center says three people were in the area when the slide happened.
