has announced that it will move from its mountain home to Denver in 2014. The fest, which last year took place in Winter Park, will be held at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on April 4-6.
In 2013 SnowBall Music Festival brought 36,000 fans during the three-night event with headliners Pretty Lights, STS9 and Kendrick Lamar.
Headliners are still to be announced for SnowBall 2014, but according to a press release it will bring 65 acts to play on four stages. The festival will include installations, fireworks and ski and snowboard exhibitions.
Now in its fourth year, this is the second move for SnowBall Music Festival, having
“We’ve been searching for just the right balance of the best access to mountain communities, outdoor winter activities, & travel amenities such as lodging and transportation,” said SnowBall Producer Chad Donnelly in a press release. “As it turns out, Denver provides the best access to all of those.”
