Friday-Saturday. Children’s music used to get a bad rap for appealing only to its target demo, but between hip shows like “Yo Gabba Gabba!” and real-deal artists like Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Justin Roberts, the situation has gotten more adult-inclusive. Roberts and his Not Ready for NaptimePlayers peddle fun, melody-driven songs that have more in common with your average indie rock band than Raffi or the Wiggles. Roberts returns to Colorado with concerts at Congregation Beth Evergreen from 5-6 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2981 Bergen Peak Drive in Evergreen ($10 per person or $20 per family, 303-670-4294 ext. 1 or ), and two shows at Swallow Hill, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Feb. 1, 71 E. Yale Ave ($14-$16, 303-777-1003 or swallowhillmusic. org).
