Curated by the Underground Music Showcase, the show on March 25 features opening local acts and . Red Bull Sound Select, which is hosting events in Denver for the first time this year, is a music series and artist development program, according to organizers.
Members of the local music scene select bands from their city to support a national act. In Denver’s case, the Epilogues and Wire Faces were chosen by the UMS to support the Joy Formidable. Red Bull Sound Select then works with these local bands on touring and promotions.
RSVP for the show at the . The RSVP does not guarantee entry, but does guarantee a $5 ticket, which costs $12 without an RSVP. Entry is on first come first served basis.
The first Red Bull Sound select show in Denver takes place on Feb. 27 with Shigeto, RUMTUM, Inner Oceans and Kitty Crimes at the Larimer Lounge.
