DENVER—Police have arrested a man in the hit-and-run death of an 11-year-old boy.
Denver Police Department spokesman says 21-year-old Oswaldo Lopez of Aurora is being held on suspicion of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a fatal accident. The boy, whose name is not being released, died after the hit-and-run at an intersection west of downtown around 8 p.m. Sunday.
KUSA-TV reports ( ) that police were able to trace the vehicle through a license plate number from evidence found at the scene.
