Whales can get sassy, too.
On a trip,Chelsea Crawford got slapped by a whale, and then a video of it went viral. Crawford was traveling with , a leadership charity toGuerrero Negro, where they intended to do a little whale watching, reports .
Then the whale got up close and personal, leaving a bump on her head.
“It wasn’t an aggression thing,” she told the CBC. “The whale was just playing and its tail came up.”
When asked what it felt like she said it wasn’t dissimilar to getting bonked in the head by a basketball. She said the tail was “really bony.I was expecting more fish characteristics, but it was really hard.”
