ASPEN, Colo.—The Natural Resources Conservation Service says snowpack in the Colorado mountains is 161 percent of last year’s level on March 1.
The conservation service says snowpack levels were above average in every portion of the state except the southwest.
According to the Aspen Times ( ), recent stream-flow forecasts indicate rafters, kayakers and other water enthusiasts can expect a good spring and summer.
