The eastbound lanes of I-76 were closed near Hudson because of a traffic accident Thusday morning.
The lanes shut down about 6:20 a.m, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The accident, which happened about 5:06 a.m., involved a car hitting a guard rail, and that car was then hit by another vehicle. A fire was sparked as part of the crash, said Trooper Nate Reid, a Colorado State Patrol spokesman.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The highway reopened about 7:45 a.m., CDOT said.
