You have 18 days to sign up for health insurance or pay a fine.

The Obama administration has repeatedly said that it will not extend or delay the March 31 deadline for individuals to sign up for insurance this year.

On Wednesday, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius  that the deadline  in any way.

You can be forgiven for being a little confused since other Obamacare deadlines have been delayed:

• In November, the administration announced that online exchanges where small business could purchase coverage for employees  for a year.

• In December, the administration  to sign up for health insurance that would begin on Jan. 1 until Christmas Eve.

• Earlier this month, the administration said that insurance plans that don’t meet new coverage requirements  until 2016.

But the Obama administration says the March 31 deadline is set in stone, which means you won’t be able to sign up for insurance on the state or federal exchanges again until November. (The exception: If you get married, divorced or have a child.)

Also, if you want to sign up for insurance that starts on April 1, you’ll need to sign up by Saturday. Otherwise, your insurance won’t kick in until May.

If you don’t sign up for insurance this year, you will face a fine of $95 per person or up to 1 percent of your household income. And while there are , the odds are pretty good that the IRS will get that money from you eventually.
