has announced its sophomore album, “Sunbathing Animals.” Due out on June 2, the album is a follow-up to its 2012 breakout release, “Light Up Gold.” The band has also shared the album’s title track, which includes an anxious drum beat and paranoid guitar solo.
Along with excessive touring, Parquet Courts released the EP, “Tally All the Things you Broke,” earlier this year. The band blew us away (as usual) at SXSW last month, with its casual and controlled indie-punk. Ahead of the new album, Parquet Courts will tour throughout the year, which includes big festival dates and unfortunately no Denver show.
Parquet Courts’ “Sunbathing Animals” tracklist:
“Bodies”
“Black And White”
“Dear Ramona”
“What Color Is Blood”
“Vienna II”
“Always Back In Town”
“She’s Rollin”
“Sunbathing Animal”
“Up All Night”
“Instant Disassembly”
“Duckin And Dodgin”
“Raw Milk”
“Into The Garden”
