Cannabis Cup: Trailblazing magazine High Times will bring its famous smoker-friendly trade show to Denver for what will likely be the most successful Cup ever. April 19-20 at the Denver Mart, 451 E. 58th Ave., Denver. $75 for two-day wristband.

and : The promoters are calling this big hip-hop show “Snoop’s Wellness Retreat,” a clever acknowledgment if there ever was one. The show also features YG and Smoke DZA. Who will pull the double header by attending Red Rocks’ Easter Sunrise Service that morning and seeing this show that evening? April 20 at , 18300 W. Alameda Pkwy., Morrison. Sold out.

Denver 420 Rally: Organizers call this Denver smoke-out and they’re likely right. Expect plenty of speakers, music, vendors and, yes, public smoking. April 19-20 at Civic Center, 100 W. 14th Ave Pkwy. Free.

Slightly Stoopid, Mac Miller and Mariachi El Bronx: Remember the Hot Box at Red Rocks last 4/20? Yeah, so do we. will mark 4/20 Eve in 2014, and their supporting cast of players should fit the vibe just fine. April 19 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Sold out.

Daze on the Green: This three-day music festival is a big one: Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Dumpstaphunk (playing Led Zeppelin), Kyle Hollingsworth Band, the Orb, Tea Leaf Green, Toubab Krewe and other. April 18-20 at the Sculpture Park, 1700 N. Speer Blvd. $37 for a three-day pass.

Ice Cube and Action Bronson: Homestead Hydro Presents Opening Night Party. Ticket price does not include Cup admission. April 18 at the Denver Mart. $60.

Leftover Salmon in the Streets: These Colorado favorites are taking over the streets outside Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom at 4:20 on 4/20 for a big party. April 20 at Cervantes, 2637 Welton St., Denver. $4.20.

Dabroots: Nappy Roots headlines this three-day Strainwise-sponsored bash, and they’re supported by the Malah, Stylust Beats, David Starfire, P-Nuckle, Disco Floyd and others. April 18-20 at Darkstar Lounge, 1630 Federal Blvd. $85 for three-day passes.

Big Industry Show Afterparty: Break it down at this afterparty featuring Too $hort and the Young Rapscallions. April 16 at City Hall Amphitheatre, 1144 Broadway. $TBD.

Festival 64: A Celebration of Legalization: This festival at barcade 1Up Colfax will host Tiger Party (featuring David Murphy of STS9), Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, Signal Path and others. April 18-20 at the 1Up Colfax, 717 E. Colfax Ave. $35 for three-day pass.

Method Man & Redman: These Wu-Tangers are so popular in Denver they’re playing two shows on April 20 — at 1:30 and 9 p.m. To boot: The show’s posters display Method and Red . April 20 at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. $42-$65.

Julian Marley: One of Bob Marley’s most famous sons will bring his traditional reggae sounds to Denver. April 18 at Casselman’s, 2620 Walnut St., Denver. $20-$25.

Collie Buddz, the ReMINDers and Liberation: You’ve likely heard “Come Around,” the single Collie Buddz is best known for. Now you can hear the reggae jam live. April 18 at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. $22-$25.

Sexpot Comedy Presents Andy Haynes’ Midnight Run with Billy Wayne Davis: is a big Haynes fan, as mentioned in Facebook invite: “Andy had his Comedy Central Special last year, has been on Jimmy Fallon, performed at SXSW a few weeks back in is one of the steeliest (John Wenzel’s words) motherfuckers working today. Andy hosts a show wherein comics who partake in marijuana and those who don’t, smoke A LOT before the show and attempt to do there best in the warm embrace of the green muppet arms that we call flower.” Sounds like a good time. April 17 at the Oriental Theatre, 4335 W. 44th Ave., Denver. $15.

DJ Snoopadelic: Remember when took over the Fillmore Auditorium last year and passed out weed-laced goodies to the audience? Neither does anyone who attended. But thatap OK, because the rapper-turned-sometimes-reggae-dude and DJ is returning to Colorado for the world’s first-ever fully-legal 4/20. Snoop will, uh, “perform” at the Gothic Theatre on April 20 as DJ Snoopadelic (last year he was DJ Snoopalicious, in case you’re counting his aliases). Snoop will hit the Gothic at 10 p.m. that night after his (see No. 2 on this list) earlier in the day with Wiz Khalifa. $35-$100. April 20 at the Gothic Theatre, 3263 S. Broadway, Englewood.

Comedy Road Trip Presents Legal Green in Denver: This night of weed, music and comedy will feature two bands — Whiskey and the Three Amigos — and comics Billy Anderson, Aaron Kirby and Derek Sheen. $15.50. April 20 at the Oriental Theatre.

KISS Army, Pop Star Homicide, Plot 38 and Sleepwalker. “The world’s finest KISS tribute experience.” That’s how KISS Army describes itself. That combined with Pop Star Homicide (a Denver-rooted Stone Temple Pilots cover band) would make for a potent blast of 420 nostalgia. $10-$15. April 20 at Herman’s Hideaway, 1578 S. Broadway., Denver.

The Waldos Music Fest with Matiyahu, Talib Kweli and Congo Sanchez (of Thievery Corporation): This hip-hop-friendly fest, sponsored by Native Roots and Dixie Elixirs, is being thrown in honor of The Waldos — “a group of young adults in California that had to hide their cannabis usage so they came together, often at 4:20 p.m., to smoke cannabis prior to it being legalized,” according to the release. $49.50. April 20 at the Fillmore Auditorium, 1510 Clarkson St., Denver.

Paper Diamond’s “Colorado Cold Crush — A 4/20 Celebration:” If there’s any date you want your electronic act to play a Denver show itap 4/20. So it makes sense that changed his March 15 show at the Ogden Theatre to accommodate the day of weed celebration — actually 4/20 Eve. $25. April 19 at the Ogden Theatre, 935 E. Colfax Ave., Denver.

Om. Stoner rock aficionados will know Sleep — and they’ll also likely know that Sleep’s rhythm section formed another band, Om. With records out on Southern Lord and Drag City, Om brings with it a solid foundation and a longstanding history. $17-$20. April 20 at the Bluebird Theater, 3317 E. Colfax Ave., Denver.

Tauntaun, Git Some and Muscle Beach: Why not spend 4/20 Eve with some really heavy rock ‘n’ roll? Throwback metal group Tauntaun is headlining this outing with thrashers Git Some pulling support. It’ll be loud and raw. $8-$10. April 19 at the Hi-Dive, 7 S. Broadway, Denver.

Flatbush Zombies: This hip-hop trio hails from (you guessed it) Brooklyn. They’ll bring their New York stylings to Colorado for two 4/20 shows, including one in northern Colorado. $20-$25. April 19 at Cervantes, Denver; April 20 at the Aggie Theatre, 204 S. College Ave., Fort Collins.

People Under the Stairs: And now for a little west coast hip-hop action on 4/20 Eve. $22-$24. April 19 at the Fox Theatre, 1135 13th St., Boulder.

B Real (of Cypress Hill). Colorado fans have spent many a 4/20 with Cypress Hill, and 2014 will only be slightly different in that the group’s lead MC B Real will play a solo show with some friends. $10. April 18 at the Summit Music Hall, 1902 Blake St., Denver.

LOUDPVCK, Sweater Beats and Bearsohmy: The two DJ/producers behind LOUDPVCK might be some of the only cats in the electronic music game who first got together as students at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. $18-$21. April 20 at the Fox Theatre.

Fortunate Youth. These South Bay reggae stand-outs mix up island music with roots goodness. $10-$14. April 19 at the Black Sheep, 2106 E. Platte Ave., Colorado Springs; April 20 at the Marquis Theatre, 2009 Larimer St., Denver.
