The Colorado School of Mines is collaborating with the in Denver to promote so-called additive manufacturing. The store, which opened just more than a year ago, said it will assist in specialty print jobs on campus, give seminars, provide internships and tours of the production facilities and contribute to Mines’ research on the 3D printing industry. “The 3D Printing Store is going to provide a wonderful opportunity for our students to gain exposure to commercial 3D printing,” Mines mechanical engineering professor Douglas Van Bossuyt said in a statement.
