Authorities arrested a suspect around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after shots were fired in the 12000 block of West 75th Avenue in Arvada.
The suspect was arrested without incident, authorities reported on Twitter.
The shots were fired around 4 p.m.
Van Arsdale Elementary was placed on lock out.
Alkire Street was closed from 72nd to 80th avenues, police said.
No one sustained any injuries, authorities said.
