
1 Pocket lining. Loss prevention officers at the Kohl’s at 12090 Colorado Blvd., Thornton called police after apprehending a shoplifter who stuffed merchandise in his pockets and shirt before trying to leave. Police cited him May 1.
2 Persistent solicitation. Police were called to the Walmart at 9901 Grant St., Thornton. A homeless man was asking for money and blocking the entrance. April 29. Officers warned the man once, but later found him in the same place. He was cited.
3 Late night troublemaking. A man called police to his home in the 700 block of West 91st Avenue, Thornton. His drunken cousin was banging on his door in the middle of the night April 28. The man told police that his cousin is banned from the residence, so she was arrested.
4 Incomplete delivery. A woman called police to report that two cell phones that she ordered online were taken from her doorstep in the 9400 block of Elm Court, Federal Heights. The woman checked the tracking number April 23 and saw they had been delivered.
5 Dog swarm. Police responded to the 2300 block of West 92nd Drive, Federal Heights after three dogs ran from their owner’s yard and attacked a man who was walking his dog April 21. The owner of the dogs didn’t have a front gate or leashes on the dogs, so she was cited.
6 Smash and grab. A witness called police April 20 after he saw two men throw large rocks through the front windows of the Cricket Store at 1261 E. 84th Ave., Thornton The suspects took armfuls of merchandise and fled the scene in a red car. There are no suspects.
