
1 Theft with heroin. On May 5, Englewood police officers responded to the 400 block of Englewood Parkway where they took into a custody a woman for a theft complaint. She was found with a small plastic bag containing heroin.
2 The hatchet. On May 3, Englewood police officers responded to the 4200 block of South Acoma where a man threatened several people with a hatchet, at which point the neighbors called 911. He was taken into custody.
3 Car theft. On May 1, a Littleton police officer was dispatched to McDonald Volkswagen, 6000 S. Broadway, where someone had stolen a car off the lot. An employee had last checked it out but was not suspected of the theft.
4 Car recycling. On April 30, Englewood police officers responded to the 1700 block of West Wesley Avenue where a man was attempting to recycle a stolen vehicle. After the officers talked to him briefly, he fled on foot but was later found and taken into custody. He was transported to Swedish Medical Center after he complained of medical problems.
5 Stolen car. On April 10, a Littleton police officer was dispatched to the 300 block of West Powers Place where someone had stolen a woman’s car. She believed it might have been stolen using a spare key in a magnetized box on the outside of the car.
6 Threatening parents. On April 8, a Littleton police officer was dispatched to the 5500 block of South Hill Street where a man had threatened to kill his mom with a machete. He had also recently assaulted his father for kicking him out of the house. He was later arrested.
