The Denver coroner on Tuesday identified a man who died after a shooting in the parking lot outside the Quality Inn near Peoria Street and Interstate 70 on Monday morning.
Marcus Armstrong, 44, was transported to a hospital .
Armstrong died from a gunshot wound to the chest, the coroner’s office said Tuesday. A woman who was with the man at the time was hurt but not shot, police said.
